This is a wonderful sandstone trough. 18th century probably. Would have been made as a water trough. It has been in the same family for generations. Derbyshire/Staffordshire part of England. It has a wonderful iron plug in the bottom of it. Ive only ever seen that in museum pieces. A really lovely example of a hand made English stone trough. In great condition.
