This is part of a collection of wonderful, very old, English leadwork that is exceptional.  

Firstly this cartouche /  plaque / frieze.  The subject is charming - two putti.  This is unique and hugely special.  I can imagine this in a courtyard area, somewhere you sit or in an orangery or conservatory.  Somewhere the lead craftmanship can be admired.  Team it up with other pieces from the collection and you have something really set apart.  A real collectors piece.  This opportunity does not come up very often.  These have been in storage for many years and have only recently become available.
