There are great proportions and local history to this lovely D shaped stone trough.  Just into Herefordshire where it has been all its life as a cider press trough.  Local stone.  This will make a really lovely water trough particularly.  Sit a spout or a pump hopper behind it.  What could be nicer than the sound of water near to the house in the garden.
