Great colour to the stone.  This is a very old piece.  Carved out by hand.  It has a drainage hole at in the base which could be sealed if wanted for water.  Put up onto a stone base this might make a fantastic part of a water feature into a pool or larger bowl simply running over the top.  It could be a deep bird bath but would require a stone in it as deep water.  It would make a fantastic solid, heavy stone planter.  This is just gorgeous.
