The 'Village Trough'.  This huge Devon stone trough has been the village trough for all of its life.  Carved locally hundreds of years ago.  It is a stunning, bow fronted trough with thick walls and in great condition.  There is a very old scar on one corner as you will see from the pictures.  It could even have been there when it was first made into a trough.  It has been planted for many years now but might once have been the village water trough, perhaps with a pump of under a spring.  It would make a wonderful water trough now or is a great depth for some substantial planting.  An English trough full of history and character.
